We name all our vehicles…The Scooter is “Ruby.” We love the romantic classic styling with all the chrome. Bikers frequently give it the thumbs up.
When ever we park it, we leave several cards from Sunset Scooters on the seat under the strap and when we come back a few are always missing.
No question about it- The Il Bello is the most beautiful scooter out on the market. With less than a $5 fill-up on Premium and 85 MILES to the gallon…We recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Suffering from scootering withdrawal
I’m suffering withdrawal this past month. My bike fell and my left mirror got knocked off, finally getting new one put back on, hardly rode in the last four weeks, I’m dying to ride again!!!!!!!!!!!
I love my Fly too! But I got the pink il bello with matching jacket. I figure, if they see me, they won’t hit me.
I’m always worried, people drive so crazy, now they notice me 1/2 a mile away : )
I figure I’m getting about 85 or 90 mpg. I get a lot
of waves as I go by, and a few “Hey Pinky!” screamers.
Just over 2000 miles, trunk rattles a bit and sometimes I have trouble closing it
(picky latch) but I love it. I do my own engine and gear oil changes,
pretty easy! I’m going to be SO UPSET when Chicago weather turns
colder and I can’t ride!

I get biker salutes and big smiles!
I LOVE my Flyscooter! I have the 150 cc and it really moves. Not to mention looking so darn cute!
It is zippy, easy to maneuver, great on gas and so
cute. Mine is the shiny red. I use it to go visit my grandkids, get
to the store, go to church, or just ride. I have had no major
problems. As the engine breaks in it is getting more gas efficient
(was 95 MPG is now over 100 MPG.) Still haven’t hit 1000 miles yet as
we’ve had such a wet summer, but I will be riding it right into the
fall.
As a rider on my husband’s Harley I’m used to other bikers signaling
a “hello”; I still get the salutes but I also get big smiles!

I’d definitely recommend Fly to anyone looking for a scooter.
I have an Il Bello 50cc and have ridden it about 500 miles so far.
There were some issues at first related to it not being assembled
correctly by the dealer I bought it from, but a great Fly dealer has
opened up in the Orlando area and they’ve been wonderful. All issues
related to the shoddy assembly have been fixed! The scooter runs
great, I can hit about 40 mph, getting about 85-90 mpg (stupid 10%
ethanol) and (my favorite part) parking is a breeze! Love riding it
around! And two people fit on it so comfortably, I don’t even know I
have a passenger!
I have a few minor criticisms (but only to help future models be even
better!), that a few of you have already mentioned.
- The rubber on the footrests for the passenger is disintegrating
- The click on the trunk is a little tricky
- I’m just waiting for the plastic hinge on the seat to snap in two -
it’s only a matter of time
- When I use the center stand, about 50% of the time I nail the inside
of my shin on one protrudes or another (kick stand, footrest popped
out, etc…).
I would definitely recommend Fly to anyone looking for a scooter.
Plus, it looks cooler than nearly anything out there.
